Beautiful Note Cards for that "feel good" feeling!

Sympathy Cards...

Are you always looking for something to write in your sympathy cards and do you feel inadequate when writing hand-written notes?  Below are just some suggestions you may find helpful in writing thoughtful sympathy notes, in time of grief.

"Out of pain and sorrow, into the light of Eternity"

"Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for stength and always remember that you are cared about."

"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."

"There are no words that can help at a time like this, but just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers."

"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

"Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart,

your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart."

Birthday Cards...

Birthday cards can be trying too when writing your own message.  Below are a few suggestions...

"Best Wishes for a wonderful day filled with hugs, laughter, and friends and family who love you.  Happy Birthday!"

"It's your special day, so fill it with favorite things like ice cream cones and chocolate, and reading a good book, and don't forget the cake!  Happy Birthday!"

"Wish we could share your birthday together, but just know that I'm thinking of you today and I'm wishing all the best to my dear friend.   Happy Birthday!"

Get Well Cards...

If you've ever struggled trying to write a message to someone who is terminally ill, here are a few simple suggestions for words of faith.

"Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you each day."

"You are thought of each day with love and concern.  If there is anything you need, or you just want to talk, please let me know.  I'll always be here for you."

"Each day is a gift for me, and I'm thankful you are in my life.  Please know that I think of you all the time, and wanted you to know that you are loved."

Best Friends, Parents, Sister "thinking of you" notes...

Need suggestions for what to write to that best friend, or a parent when you want to send a special hand written card....

"You are my best friend and today I was thinking of all the things we've shared together.  Wish we were sharing today and doing something fun together...Let's make plans soon?"

"Mom, I seldom tell you how much I love you, but I was thinking of all the fun we've had and all the laughter we've shared over the years.  I just wanted to let you know that I'm glad you're my mom and that I love you."

"Hey Dad.  I was thinking of you today and thought I'd drop you a quick line to let you know that I miss you and maybe we can make plans soon to visit.  I'd love that...and I love you!"

"Hi Sister.  Just wanted you to know that I was missing you more than normal today for some reason.  Maybe it's time we make plans for a day together.  I'd like that.  Call me soon, okay?"

Misunderstandings and Apologies...

"It doesn't matter who was at fault.  I've missed you and we need to talk soon.  I'm sorry..."

"I shouldn't have said what I did to hurt your feelings.  I'm so sorry.  Can I have a "do over?"

"Life just hasn't been the same without you in it.  Please forgive me."

"My only reason for sending you this card is to let you know how sorry I am, and to tell you that I love you!"

Miscellaneous Thoughs...

It seems that today people just don't write notes anymore.  We all depend on email, and Facebook, and picking up the phone to hear someone's voice.

I still love to receive a hand written thank you note and it feels as if this is a lost art.

Its important to read someone's thoughts when they want to share their feelings with you and can't say the words when they're in front of you.  Some of the most wonderful birthday wishes I've received are in notes from loved ones, and from family that is no longer with us.  And these notes I will always treasure, cards from my father or a dear friend.

And, its important to write how you feel to the people you love, who are still with us.  Don't wait until you can't buy them flowers and give them as gifts while they're here.  And, don't wait to write a little note to tell them that you love them while you can.

Life is a gift every day.  Enjoy the beautiful things in life, and share them!
